Hello, we had a discussion with some friends about pre-made fries and couldn't agree on anything, so I have two questions: 1. are the fries made from Swiss potatoes? 2. it was claimed that the fries are made from mashed potatoes? Thank you for your information, kind regards.
Hello Nana21, thank you for your inquiry. The potatoes in M-Classic Ofen Frites come from Switzerland. They are not made from mashed potatoes, but are peeled, washed, cut, deep-fried and then shock-frozen.
Only side dishes, such as Pommes Duchesse or croquettes, are made from potato flakes. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

The fries are not the same as before, has anything been changed? Different potatoes perhaps? This is the second time we've had bad luck with the oven fries, they just don't get crispy, despite preheating and the correct setting. Really, they were in the oven for 45 minutes and still limp. It's not the oven, I checked the temperature with a thermometer. Do you have any idea what the problem is? Life without delicious fries would be terrible 😉.
Hello ka, thank you very much for your message. Can you give us the best before date and the lot number? We will be happy to check this afterwards. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello, thanks for the answer. As we had mussels with it, the bucket with the packaging was unfortunately already disposed of last night. But I'll try again and if it happens again, I'll send you the details. Greetings ka
Hello ka, thank you for your feedback. This could be due to heat damage. Unfortunately, we cannot make any further clarifications without this information. We will definitely get in touch with you privately. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

The oven fries now have a longer baking time (22-26 min.) compared to the previous 15-20 min. at the same temperature. What is the reason for this? For me, the baking time of 15 minutes used to be perfect. Does this now mean that I have to bake the current ones for approx. 22 mins? They should also be placed on the 2nd rack. Now I don't know whether from above or below with five grooves!
Hello xulu, you can bake the oven fries as before - nothing has been changed in the recipe. Many customers found the baking time of 15-20 minutes too short, which is why we have increased it to 22 minutes. Most ovens have 4 grooves and we always bake from the bottom up. I also made these fries and preheated the oven. I baked them on the second rack from the top with top and bottom heat at 200 degrees. And for 25 minutes as prescribed. And they were crispy golden yellow. I think the oven simply has to be preheated, then the specified baking time is correct.

We made oven fries for the first time and tried these oven fries from Migros. We really liked them and will probably be using them as an alternative on our plates from time to time in the future. It's a shame that the pack is a bit big for our small freezer compartment or that it simply takes up a lot of space because it's so bulky, so there's hardly any room for anything else apart from the chips.
Hello erimel
We are pleased that you like our M-Classic oven frites.
At the moment, there are no plans to include an even smaller packaging than the 500gin in our range.
Our Ofenfrites are in a bag that is very space-saving in terms of packaging.
Nevertheless, we thank you for the tip and regret that we cannot give you more positive feedback. we wish you an enjoyable week. your M-Infoline Team
