Again and again today: always far too little weight! Even today just 490 g, all of them!

Already written a year ago:
"The packaging says 235 cal, here 229 ...
what is correct? Please answer"

Reply from Migros:
"Hello indios, 229 kcal is correct. It is probably old packaging. We use it up first before we order new ones. This is for cost and efficiency reasons. Best regards, your M-Infoline team"

After a year, nothing has changed. Everything is still the same on the packaging: Kal 235.....
Please correct this and adjust the values.

Hello indios, thank you for your message. The stock has not yet been used up. We will order new bags as soon as we do. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Still not used up after more than a year? Sorry, I don't believe that.

Also today at 08.30 a.m. again in 9500 Wil: Breads have just between 460 and 470 gr. Weighed several (and that with packaging). Please report this again! As customers, we cannot accept this! And it hadn't been lying around for hours, it was still warm.

Unfortunately also today, 06.08.24, again in 9500 Wil: bread just 473 g. The others were also in the same range. Please change that! As a customer, you really feel cheated.

Great bread, but unfortunately it always weighs too little. Today again in 9500 Wil, all the loaves I weighed were under 490 grams (with bag, so the bread is even less). I have reported this many times, but it does not happen. Please weigh the dough blanks with more weight. The humidity is very high at the moment, this is not the cause. It has always been like this!

Poor packaging. Much too thin and open at the bottom of both loaves today! Bought in 9500 Wil SG

Hello indios, we regret that the bags were open at the bottom. A bag is always glued together at three different points. On the one hand a track in the longitudinal direction from paper to film and on the other hand a track on the reverse side from paper to paper as well as the third glue track at the bottom, which closes the bag. The glue is liquid when it is applied. A few seconds later it has dried out and bonds the different materials together. During this process, there may unfortunately be fluctuations in the quantity. The bottom of the bag is designed in such a way that the glue does not cover the entire width of the bottom, but leaves a small gap at the side so that no glue can enter the inner area when the bottom of the bag is folded over. This design is standardized and almost all European bag manufacturers work according to this principle. The fact that the bags were open at the bottom indicates a gluing error, for which we apologize. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello indios, 229 kcal is correct. It is probably old packaging. We use it up first before we order new ones. This is for cost and efficiency reasons. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Thank you for your feedback.

As of 01.10.2024: The nutritional values on the bag are still 235 cal, here 229. Please adjust!

Hi indios, thank you very much for your message. Our specialist department has already been informed of your valuable advice - thank you again. For the sake of the environment, we are still using this packaging until it is used up. After that, the corrected version will be on display in the stores. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

After 10 months???

It's great that this bread is available again in 9500 Wil. But the bread (and others too) weighs just 492 grams. I can't accept that it says 500 grams. I have just bought it today (09.00) and weighed it in the store and now at home. The others in the store were all just as light. Please be sure to check. This must not be the case!

Hello indios, thank you very much for your message. How nice that the return of the bread is generating enthusiasm! We are all the more sorry that this does not apply to the weight of the product. We have passed on your message to all the departments involved - with a request to ensure that it is processed properly. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Today, 21.10.23, again: Just bought 2 loaves at 8.30 a.m. and neither of them weighed 500g. Just 493 and 492 g. Please make the blanks heavier. We customers pay for 500 g.

Is within the tolerance range...

just let it go..........

Hello indios, thank you for your feedback. We checked all production-related documents and could not find any deviations.

We use a so-called "check weigher" on this bread line, which checks the weight of each individual dough piece and automatically ejects dough that is either too light or too heavy. Checking the settings in the check weigher revealed no deviations. On the contrary, the average weight of the dough pieces was 629.6 g (615 - 645 g) and the so-called oven-out weight, which is determined by a continuous random sample check, was 526 g. Both values are therefore absolutely within tolerance. Both values are therefore absolutely within tolerance (515 - 529 g).

As always, a rolling loses moisture during the baking process and therefore also loses weight slightly. To date, we have not received any similar feedback, which is why we assume that this is an unfortunate isolated case. We hope your experience with us will be positive again in the future. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Of course, because nobody weighs and can be cheated. I bake a lot myself and know that it takes 650 grams of dough. The bread ALWAYS weighs too little. And that shouldn't be the case. Especially when I bought it early. Then set the price per kilo and the customer has to weigh the bread, just like with vegetables. Then it's fair.

And if the law stipulates a tolerance value, this also applies to Migros and to you!
