The proof of origin of the tomatoes is missing on the packaging. However, according to the LMG, this MUST be present for at least 50% of the product used (at least in this case). So where are the tomatoes from?

Yes, I agree with that. If possible, I don't buy products without an indication of origin. That's why I would very much welcome the general indication.
