Are they scratchy (like the ones with the green side) or soft (non-scratchy)? Normally it says so, but not here in the picture?

I have always been very satisfied with these sponges. Unbeatable price-performance ratio.
Unfortunately, something has been changed in the production, recently the sponges no longer have any elasticity when they are wet and full of soap, they hardly unfold. I hope this changes again or I will unfortunately have to look for another product (but not a more expensive one)

We regret that you are no longer satisfied with the M-Budget sponges.
We have reviewed the quality tests and laboratory values of the foam type in question and looked for any anomalies. The production lots (batches) from 2010 to the present were analyzed.
A test order is automatically generated with every foam production run and test samples are taken according to a defined specification. These samples then undergo a standardized test program in our test laboratory, which includes various physical measurement criteria. As a rule, these are industry-standard DIN EN ISO tests. In the event of an unacceptable deviation, the test laboratory would immediately block the batch in question.
We assure you that when reviewing the test results for the period mentioned, not a single impermissible deviation of a specified measured value was noticed.
We therefore assume that the case in question is an isolated incident or outlier. Nevertheless, we want to take preventive measures and increase the quality of our Q measurement values.
