Is this toilet paper bleached? If so, with what?

Hello Shrimpsky, thank you for your inquiry. This is not so easy to answer for a recycled product. Most European pulp manufacturers bleach with chlorine compounds such as chlorine dioxide or hypochlorite (ECF - elementary chlorine free) or with hydrogen peroxide/ozone (TCF - totally chlorine free) The fibers that our manufacturer receives in the form of waste paper were therefore most likely bleached using these methods. However, he uses a completely different method in waste paper processing in the production of toilet paper. The manufacturer does not bleach the paper fibers as they are already bleached. Instead, he uses sodium sulphite to remove the unwanted dyes, which restores the original whiteness of the paper. We hope this helps you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I still have a good old pack at home with 18 rolls and 6300 sheets -> 350 sheets per roll. The "new" M-Budget toilet paper has only 200 sheets per roll. Is this more compact version no longer available, or has it also fallen victim to "shrinkflation"?

Hello SchweizerEinwohner, thank you for your inquiry. As our customers prefer the 12-pack of this toilet paper, we have decided to discontinue the 18-packs with more sheets per roll. The 12-pack has always had 200 sheets per roll. We have not changed anything about this product. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

So the 18-pack was a lot better.
