Where do the chickens for the M-Budget label actually come from? What kind of life do they have?

Hello HirschiS Thank you for your contribution. We are pleased that you are one of our valued customers. We have gladly informed our responsible specialist department about your request. Migros invests in Swiss poultry and stands for Swiss agriculture. Around 80% of the poultry sold within Migros comes from Swiss production. The Optigal brand stands for Swiss poultry that meets the main needs of our customers for safety, trust and quality. The chickens are kept in special stables with access to a conservatory (BTS). The chickens in the M-Budget line also grow up in Switzerland, also in animal-friendly stables. Compared to Optigal, however, these chickens do not have an outdoor run in a winter garden, but in any case meet the legal Swiss animal welfare requirements. We hope that our answer is clarifying for you and wish you a pleasant day. See you soon in your Migros! Kind regards from your M-Infoline team
