Hello, these oranges are sold cheaper in the branches, aren't your prices supposed to be like those in the stores?
Hello Marielee, thank you very much for your question. We'll be happy to take a closer look. Could you please tell us in which store you noticed that these oranges had a different price and what that price is? Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Good day Container size? it would be nice to know how many oranges (weight) are in the container Thank you
It says yes, 3 kg
Hello Boldis57, thank you for the question. As indios has already correctly noted, there are 3 kg in the network. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Open the Migros app, enter oranges, then select M Budget Oranges and show me the 3 kilos
Exactly, at first glance it says 3 kg!
Strangely not for me

I would love to know where the budget oranges are produced and under what conditions. I love them for freshly squeezed juice but always feel a bit guilty because they are so cheap
Hello Juicer1, we are happy to provide you with information and hope that this will dispel your concerns. M-Budget oranges are usually slightly smaller than other oranges on sale in Migros and often have minimal peel defects. For this reason, we can offer them at a lower price. In addition: Migros also attaches great importance to correct working conditions in agriculture. For this reason, since 2020 Migros has required all fruit and vegetable suppliers in countries with higher risks in terms of working conditions to check the minimum requirements before procurement. Migros has also developed its own monitoring tool for this purpose, which checks the essential criteria for socially acceptable working conditions (e.g. occupational safety, regulated employment relationships, correct remuneration, no child or forced labor). Best regards, your M-Infoline team
I would like to point out to Migros once again that these oranges, which have a very good taste, can hardly be peeled, the peel is ultra-thin. It would be desirable if a different quality could be used. After all, budget should only have an impact on the packaging (as Migros says about budget products). I am looking forward to receiving oranges from Budget soon that can also be peeled.
Hello indios, thank you very much for your input. We have gladly informed the relevant department about your comment. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Dear indios. On the one hand, the procurement of the skin depends on the variety. Earlier varieties have thinner shells. On the other hand, it is also due to the smaller caliber that we use at M-Budget. The specifications regarding the inner values are decisive for us. We are pleased that you like the taste of the orange. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
But you can't peel them!
Just buy the others
It's true that their skins are very thin and that's why we use them to make squeezed juice, or else you have to use a blade to peel them!

Too bad Migros doesn't answer...
Hello EEnergy, thank you for your post. We are sorry that you have not yet received any feedback. Please accept our apologies for this technical error. Our M-Budget products do indeed have the lowest prices on the market. We offer the oranges in a 3 kg net, our competitors sometimes offer them in other units. We have weekly prices and also charge our competitors' prices every week. Our current price is CHF 3.75 / 3 kg. Aldi sells for CHF 2.59 / 2 kg and Lidl for 2.49 / 2 kg. In this respect, we keep our promise of the lowest price. Best regards, your M-Infoline Team

Regarding the low price guarantee, oranges cost CHF 0.79 per kilo at Aldi and CHF 1.25 at Migros... So the oranges are a lot cheaper at the competition. Will the price be adjusted?

Hello indios, thank you for your feedback on our M-Budget oranges. We would like to make further clarifications for you. We would therefore ask you to let us know the place of purchase and the lot number. The batch or lot number usually begins with the letter L or there is a mixture of numbers and letters. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
I buy in 9500 Wil SG. I no longer have the lot number. Because it didn't just happen once, but they are always so "thin-skinned". Thank you for the clarification and I hope that Budget will soon have oranges that can be peeled.
Hello indios, thank you for your feedback. The specialist department responsible has informed us that the thickness of the skin depends on the variety. There are varieties that tend to have a thinner skin. We will be changing the varieties in the near future so that the skin is thicker and peeling is easier. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you very much, I'm looking forward to it!

Where do these oranges come from? Several origins? They are very tasty and juicy!
Hello tester, thank you for the praise. The oranges come from Spain, which should also be noted on the packaging. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
