Hello fonero
Thank you for your reminder - please excuse our late reply.
We regret thatFragezeichen is not satisfied with our M-Budget Surimi sticks. As an alternative, we recommend our branded product from Coraya (Coraya Fish Sticks), which is even MSC certified. Coraya surimi sticks contain no flavor enhancers, preservatives or artificial colors.
We wish you sunny days and send you our best regards from the M-Infoline team

You can get these Surimi sticks from M-Budget at Migros Rapperswil-Sonnenhof and at the Zurich City and Limmatplatz stores in Zurich.
We hope this helps you and wish you a nice weekend.

According to the answer to Verena Winti's question, this fish waste product would have no taste at all without monosodium glutamate. It can't be that this monosodium glutamate is supposed to suddenly turn something tasteless into something edible. I might as well suck on the flavoring.
Monosodium glutamate is absolutely unhealthy.

well, they would be delicious. but when i look at the list of ingredients for this surimi M budget version, i lose my appetite: the sticks stay in the chiller cabinet.

Hello annasi
Thank you for your feedback!
The recipe for the surimi products is the same. Like the MSC Surimi, the M-Budget Surimi is made from wild-caught Alaska pollock. However, the M-Budget Alaska pollock is not from sustainable wild-caught fish, but is nevertheless classified as safe by the WWF. MSC Surimi uses Alaska pollock from sustainable wild catches.
The remaining ingredients are needed to guarantee the proven quality that our customers appreciate.
We hope that we have provided you with sufficient information and wish you a pleasant day.
See you soon in your Migros - we look forward to seeing you! Your M-Infoline team

dear m-infoline team
thank you very much for the quick and detailed reply. well, i think the ingredients of the surimi sticks are not the only problem / only minus factor of the M-bduget line (which i really appreciate by the way!). Surimi in Asian countries or a higher quality product, has little/no sugar and little/no wheat starch and other starchy additives. For this reason, the surimi available in Migros and elsewhere is rather questionable.
I have no complaints about the quality of the added ingredients. I generally trust Migros in this respect :-)
I wish you a wonderful day,
Your annasi
