Why are the waxy potatoes so bad? I have to cut out a lot of places generously🙈

Hello Carl51, thank you for your inquiry. We will be happy to follow up on your comment. We would ask you to let us know why you had to generously cut away numerous spots: Did the potatoes have dark discoloration? Furthermore, a photo of the product label would be of great benefit to us for further clarification. Thank you in advance for your valuable support. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Are M-Budget potatoes not graded? I bought M-Budget waxy potatoes of the Erika variety on 6.2.22 in Wittenbach. Once again I had to prepare and cut away a lot of green (=poisonous) spots and many wormholes deep inside. I had to throw away more than a quarter! How are these potatoes stored? Do they get too much light? According to the packaging, they were only packed 2 days before purchase on 4.2.22, supplier MINOG AG. Then it also has an illegible number 143555 or 143355.

Hi Himbeersirup007, the potatoes are usually stored in dark warehouses at a temperature of 4-6 degrees Celsius. We are sorry that you were unable to use some of the potatoes. Potato bags have special light protection to slow down the greening process. However, it can happen that one or two potatoes have been exposed to light between harvest and store and start to turn green. However, it is actually the case that there are few potatoes in the field that turn green when exposed to light. The employees sort these out during harvesting or at the latest during packing. We will contact you again privately. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

It would be nice if Migros Budget potatoes Annabelle didn't have to be peeled off more than 50% because of fungal infestation. That ruins the whole budget advantage.

We are sorry that our M-Budget potatoes were not satisfactory. So that we can look into the matter, we need the M-data, the lot number and the place of purchase from you. You can usually find the lot number near the best-before date and it usually starts with an L or a mixture of numbers and letters.
We look forward to hearing from you and wish you a good start to the week!
Best regards
