Hello, I have already read the question here several times as to whether the gnocchi are vegan. The answer has always been that the product is vegan due to the recipe. I would now like to know whether the production chain also does not use any animal ingredients/auxiliaries, e.g. in filtration, coloring or adhesives.
Many thanks in advance!
Has the recipe been changed recently?
Hello Nici_2, thank you for your inquiry. The specialist department confirmed that there were no adjustments. What did you notice? If you are still in possession of a pack, the best-before date and the batch number (a combination of numbers and letters) would be very useful for clarification. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, the bag of these gnocchi was bloated and when I opened it, everything smelled very sour and spoiled. I bought two packs and had to dispose of everything immediately, even though the use-by date was not until 17.07.23 (L23135.22:48 and L23135 22:50)!!!!
Hello Romy70, thank you for your message. We have spoken to the responsible department about this. This is probably due to faulty sealing or damage to the weld seam. As a result, the protective atmosphere is no longer guaranteed and oxygen and moisture can get into the packaging. All it takes for oxygen to enter is a small hole or a leak that is barely visible to the eye. However, it can of course also be a deviation in the cooling process. If the product is exposed to excessively warm temperatures, it can spoil prematurely. These deviations can occur during transportation or in the store. We have informed all the relevant departments about your report. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Is the product vegan?
Hi Ambreee, yes, M-Budget potato gnocchi are vegan by recipe. However, they are not certified vegan and are not labelled accordingly. If you're looking for a certified product, we can recommend V-Love gnocchi: https://www.migros.ch/en/product/130104000000. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello Are these gnocchi vegan? And do they remain vegan? Many thanks in advance for the information.
Hello Hmmmmm, yes, the M-Budget potato gnocchi are vegan according to the recipe. However, they are not vegan-certified and are therefore not labeled accordingly. If you are looking for a certified product, we can recommend the M-Classic gnocchi: https://produkte.migros.ch/m-classic-gnocchi-mit-kartoffeln. We cannot guarantee that the recipe for M-Budget potato gnocchi will always be the same. However, there are currently no plans to change it. It is best to check the list of ingredients. Is the E 471 of plant or animal origin?
Hello Pesa105, M-Budget potato gnocchi used to contain the emulsifier E 471, which was of vegetable origin. In the meantime, the recipe has been adapted and the gnocchi now do not contain this emulsifier. Unfortunately, the list of ingredients had not yet been updated online, but we have initiated this and the corresponding adjustment has already been made in the meantime. Which country do the potatoes used for the potato flakes in this product come from?
Hello Killergorilla. According to our supplier, the potato flakes come from the EU, depending on availability. If you give us the best-before date and the production number that you can find on the packaging, we can provide more specific answers. However, this only applies to packs from the same production line. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello All the bad reviews seem to have no effect. FOUR years ago they promised to take care of the problem. Should we assume that Migros is not interested in feedback? Best regards
Hello wirzel, thank you very much for your contribution. Unfortunately, the previous gnocchi are no longer produced by our manufacturer - we ask for your understanding. We are sorry that you do not like our M-Budget potato gnocchi made in Italy. Your opinion is important to us, which is why we have already informed the responsible department about your message. Together with the manufacturer, they will check to what extent the consistency can be optimized. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team
