Migros can make ice cream, but this is definitely not one of them. Sandy, floury, the pieces of ice cream are inedible. It's edible but, despite the budget, it's no fun.

I was pleasantly surprised by the ice cream itself: it is pleasantly creamy, easy to portion and has a solid taste. Unfortunately, the pieces of dough it contains were not convincing - they seem rather artificial and have neither the consistency nor the taste you would expect from cookie dough. This is particularly disappointing if you value dough of good quality, for example from Christmas cookies or well-known brands such as Ben & Jerry's. The idea is good, but the implementation of the dough pieces leaves a lot to be desired.
Yes, like most others here I tested it for free, so take my words w/ a grain of salt. Or maybe a grain of sugar would be more appropriate. Let's see: it's cold. It's pretty bland, but any ice cream can be salvaged by following my late dad's famous recipe: add a whopping spoonfull of peanut butter and start stirring. You'll get a good a tricep workout and you'll end up w/ God's favorite creation, peanut butter soup. Enjoy!
I love Ben & Jerry's - especially the varieties with cookie dough or cookie pieces. But to be honest, the price is really steep. That's why I tried the Almost Cookies ice cream from M-Budget and I was really pleasantly surprised!
Of course, you can't expect a 1:1 comparison, but the ice cream is really good for the low price. It's creamy, nice and sweet and the cookie pieces add a great crunch.
I would perhaps have liked a few more cookie pieces - just for the full "cookie dough feeling". But still: great value for money and really tasty.
