Thank you very much for the information about the initiative for China - only: you write yourself, "the goal is ..." - in other words, the goal has not yet been reached. This begs the question for the inexperienced consumer: why not simply procure plasters from the DACH region instead of from China? This would also be available if, for example, a ship were to cross a channel that is crucial for shipping routes. And even better: if Migros were to buy from Swiss suppliers, the money would stay in the country. And the workers at the Swiss factory could then spend it back at Migros :-) - This would close the loop. I would then probably spend 10 Rp more on the plasters, and you as Migros could do without part of the perhaps somewhat high margin on Chinese products. Win-win, right? :-)
Hello ManfredT, thank you very much for your thoughts, which we will be happy to take up in the next product revision. We are currently unable to offer Swiss plasters; if you prefer those from Europe, we recommend the articles from M-Plast, such as this textile plaster. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Where are the plasters made? And some of them are individually wrapped, is that sterile packaging? Otherwise, thanks for the super plasters, very practical!
Hello ManfredT, the M-Budget textile plasters are produced in China and are not sterile. However, the plaster strips are packaged by our supplier in a wrapper - such packaging is not standard on the market for the large plasters for cutting to size. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you very much for your answer - the small strips are individually packaged and intended for open wounds - could they not be packaged sterile? I would welcome that. And: aren't there other suppliers? Nothing against the Chinese ... but the magic word "glocalization" is in the air, i.e. producing closer to the consumer again. If the global supply chains were to break down (again), we would have no more plasters. As a quasi-monopolist, Migros also has a social responsibility here, I think. Additional question: what are the working conditions (vacations, illness, pregnancy) and environmental conditions (i.e. water purification, exhaust air purification) at your Chinese partner factory? Are they comparable with our conditions?
Hello ManfredT, thank you very much for your feedback. We forwarded your suggestion about sterile packaging to our specialist department and thank you for it. However, we are not planning to change supplier - we are very satisfied with our current supplier. Regarding your additional questions: We are aware of the criticism of China's social and labor policy. We have therefore been doing a great deal for years to continuously improve working conditions at local producers. Migros is a founding member of amfori BSCI. The aim of amfori BSCI is to improve working conditions in supply chains and to pool and standardize the efforts of individual companies. These efforts are based on the amfori BSCI Code of Conduct for Suppliers. This regulates, for example, correct remuneration, working hours, health care and occupational safety in production facilities. Discrimination, child labor and forced labor are prohibited and equal treatment and freedom of association are prescribed. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
