The comments say it all. Those responsible should be ashamed of themselves for destroying the best Coke Zero on the Swiss market.

Why did Migros change the recipe?
Hello Brenodor, thank you for your inquiry. We adjusted the recipe because many of our customers had negative comments about the previous taste. In our tests, the majority of tasters liked the new recipe better. Were we able to convince you? We look forward to your answer. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you for the quick reply. Obviously I don't share the majority taste. What a pity!

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, this does not help those affected at all. Unfortunately, most hams also contain phosphate(!). Migros has a ham without added phosphate (it does work!)+bravo! unfortunately you have to search for it at great expense. By the way, it's the same with other EN numbers, you have to look with a magnifying glass. The food industry is always telling us that it only contains additives that are permitted by the authorities. It's only natural that they don't mess with the mighty food industry because of a few "incompatibilities". Unfortunately, I have to shop with the E-number list today because of my kidneys. But thank you for at least replying. One more thing: DDT used to be classified as harmless, just like glyphosate is today! Have a nice afternoon.
Hello toscana3, thank you for your feedback. We would like to comment on Migros' position on the use of additives in food. Additives are among the best-studied substances in our food and are considered harmless to health. They are only approved once strict toxicological tests have proven their harmlessness. However, it is correct that certain additives (mostly colorants, antioxidants or preservatives) can trigger intolerance reactions in rare cases. The industrial nature of food production and the requirements for quality, safety and shelf life require the use of additives in many cases. This also applies to Migros products. However, Migros follows the principle of "as much as necessary, as little as possible" when using additives. Migros prohibits the use of the following azo dyes for all foods: E102 tartrazine, E104 quinoline yellow, E110 yellow-orange S, E122 azorubine, E124 Ponceau 4R and E129 allura red AC. In addition, there are special specifications for the Migros range for allergy sufferers under the label aha! - where additives that can trigger intolerance reactions are avoided wherever possible. Furthermore, additives may only be used to a very limited extent in organic products. When launching new products, we make sure that the lists of ingredients are as short and simple as possible and that as few additives/flavourings as possible are used. One example of this is the products of Migros' new own brand You. As part of recipe reviews, the ingredient lists are checked for each product group and, wherever possible, additives/flavourings are reduced or completely eliminated. Examples include Migros toasts, which have been preservative-free since 2017, Crème d'Or ice creams, which have been made with 100% natural ingredients since 2019, and frozen spinach without acidifiers. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team

Can anyone tell me what phosphate is doing in a cola? Unfortunately, many people don't know that it contains phosphate, even in Zeero!
Hello toscana3, thank you for your post. M-Budget Cola Zero contains phosphoric acid. The additive phosphoric acid is used in a variety of foods and beverages. All additives are thoroughly tested and expressly approved by the respective authorities. For an additive to be legally approved, the dosage used in the product must not pose a risk to health. Dear M-Infoline team, I have a question about the availability of the product. Until recently, the ZERO version of the M-Budget Coke was available in Burgdorf (Neumarkt), but recently it is no longer available. When I asked, I got 2 different answers from 2 different employees, one employee said it would be back (not the case so far), but another said it was no longer available there. Which is correct? Many thanks in advance! P.s.: It is also a pity that this product is not available in the online store.
. Hello Guest99 Thank you for contacting us with your request. M-Budget Cola Zero is currently no longer available in Burgdorf, but it may be back on the shelves after the refurbishment, depending on the space available. We'll keep our fingers crossed that there's room for your favorite cola. Best regards from the M-Infoline team

Guest
the prices of cocacola are always going up... when will migros finally launch its own brand of cola in 5 dl pet or 3dl can ? :(
Hi swisss
Thank you for your contribution. Price increases can be annoying, we understand that.
However, Coca-Cola HBC Schweiz AG has increased its purchase prices nationally. Compared to previous price increases, Migros has to pass on the costs this time, at least for the small container sizes for the time being.
There are currently no plans to offer our M-Budget Cola in other packaging sizes.
Thank you for your understanding and best regards.

Dear M-Infoline Team
My problem was not just with one bottle, but with the product itself. I recently bought another bottle and noticed that there is no acidity regulator in the product. Perhaps my feeling is related to this. Other products have this in them (Pepsi max, Prix Garantie Zero), but not Cola Zero. I'm aware that I'm comparing zero with light here and I can't say whether Coop's Prix Garantie light has the regulator in it, except that I also find it less acidic than the budget line.
Now I'm curious to see when the M-Budget Cola Zero will be launched on the market and whether its taste will be more satisfactory for me than the light...

Hello flowerhas
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you do not like this product.
The recipe has been successful for more than five years and has not been changed. The acidity regulator is not absolutely necessary. The tasting panel, which had to choose between many light colas at the time, opted for the one without acidity regulator.
There are currently no plans to include an M-Budget Coca-Cola zero in the range. We already stock the Zero variants of Pepsi and Coca-Cola.
We hope this helps you and wish you a good week. Your M-Infoline Team

I find the drink very sour compared to other light colas. My teeth are a bit sensitive and I can't bite into very sour products (Redbull, citrus fruits in large quantities...). That's why I also avoid the original cola. Light drinks are normally not a problem in this respect, except for these from Migros-Budget...
Hello flowerhas
We are sorry that you did not like our cola. We would be happy to discuss your message with our supplier. To this end, could you please answer the following questions:
What is the M-date (to be sold by, to be consumed by)?
What is the batch number (number starting with letters or mixed)?
Thank you in advance and have a nice day, your M-Infoline Team
Dear M-Infoline Team
I haven't bought the cola for a long time now and I don't have a corresponding bottle to hand on which I could read the required information. My problem was not just with the bottle, but with the product itself.
Now I'm curious to see when the M-Budget Cola Zero will be launched on the market and whether its taste will be more satisfactory for me than the Light...

I don't quite understand the product declaration on the bottle, so I have a question
-> Is M-Budget Cola Light bottled in Switzerland?
-> Concentrate diluted with water in Switzerland with Swiss water?
Dear guest
Thank you for your question.
The ingredients come from different countries. The drink is produced and bottled in Switzerland with Swiss water.
Migros wishes you a great week!
Best regards from the M-Infoline team
