The difference you feel may be due to this, but the taste of the product may also change during storage. Chocolate is very sensitive to odors. White chocolate in particular takes on foreign odors very easily. It must be stored in an airtight container and it is essential to use odorless packaging. In addition, chocolate should not be stored near strong-smelling foods, such as cheese, fish, meat, etc. In order to give a concrete opinion, we would need a sample of the product in question to check it carefully. Only then would we be able to determine whether quality changes have taken place.
