Hello IceTeaBlume, thank you for your question. One difference is that Boncampo coffee is a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans, whereas M-Budget coffee is made from 100% Robusta beans. The taste is also different. The Boncampo has roasted aromas of wood and tobacco, while the M-Budget has notes of nutmeg, cereals and bread, sometimes slightly fruity (passion fruit). Hello IceTeaBlume , thank you for your contribution. We can understand why you are surprised about the price increase. Migros has always offered quality at reasonable prices. Nevertheless, it can happen that we have to increase prices. These can have various causes:
- Increases in the cost of raw materials, packaging materials (especially paper and cardboard), general production costs
- For food: poor harvest (quality, quantity) -> increased demand, higher price
We compensate for normal exchange rate fluctuations and minor increases in raw material prices by means of a mixed calculation. However, if these costs rise steadily over a period of months or if procurement prices increase drastically, an adjustment is unavoidable. We often do not pass on the full price increase to the sales price. We assure you that we always examine such measures carefully and only take them if there is no other option. Whenever possible, we communicate important price increases in our own press (Migros Magazine) in order to show our customers the background to such steps. Good morning Michi2000It says so in the product information: Botanical variety: Arabica/RobustaArabica beans are larger and flatter, the shape is clearly more oval.
