Has the recipe been changed or adapted? The dough practically no longer rises. This shouldn't really be the case with puff pastry 🤔

Hello Magnoliapower, thank you for your message. We would like to follow up on your comment. Please let us know the best-before date and the batch/lot number of the product in question. You will find the batch/lot number next to the best-before date. It usually starts with the letter L or a mixture of letters and numbers. We will then be able to make further clarifications for you. We look forward to hearing from you! Best regards, your M-Infoline team

When will the dough be back in the chiller cabinet?

Hello hapf, due to the current situation, the supplier is concentrating on the most popular products in terms of toast and dough. Therefore, we are currently unable to produce the M-Budget puff pastry - we apologize for this and ask for your understanding. When we will be able to produce the dough again depends on the circumstances. We are therefore unable to give you a date. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Are animal fats (pork) used in this and the other Migros puff pastry products?

Hoi Pake Thank you for your question. Our puff pastries are free from ingredients derived from pigs and (unless otherwise declared, e.g. butter, milk or eggs) are vegetarian. The only ingredient we use that contains material derived from pigs is gelatine. For products that contain gelatine, this is declared accordingly in the list of ingredients on the packaging (e.g. pork gelatine). JOWA only uses vegetable fats and oils or butter to make its bread and bakery products, but no pork fat. We hope this has helped you and wish you a lovely spring day. Best wishes from the M-Infoline team
