We miss this awesome tofu. When will it be available again in Bern?
Hello KD_migi, we had a total breakdown at the end of January/beginning of February, which affected sales of all tofu products. As a result, we reached our capacity limits. However, the problems have been resolved since last week, and we are gradually able to meet demand again. Each branch should receive sufficient goods again very soon. Hello Vegan_Batman, thank you for your question. The good news is that since last week, we have resolved the issues that led to the delivery delays. We are now delivering the tofu again, piece by piece. Your store should have it back in stock very soon. If you like, you can call them beforehand to make sure. It looks like recently this product is not available anymore in shops (I am talking about Suisse Romande). Is it a temporary logistic/supply problem, or is the product discontinued? That would be a massive let-down!

During our dialogue with the specialist department, it emerged that the product is still part of our range. However, due to a system changeover, various adjustments are currently being made to our offering.
Unfortunately, it is unavoidable that some products are no longer available as usual in all stores. Some have had to make way completely, while others are only available in larger supermarkets, although certain items are now also available in smaller sales outlets.

I checked already and as I said, it looks like the product is out of stock anywhere in the whole Lac Leman area, from Geneva, to Lausanne to Vevey/Montreux.

The M-Budget Tofu is currently not available in any store in Zurich. Will it be back? Is there a supply bottleneck? Or is the recipe being revised?

Hello, why this huge price increase from CHF 1.20 to 1.55, a whopping 30%? Reason, margin? After all, this is an MBudget product, and the goal should not be the highest possible margin. Please be transparent!
Migros also tries to offer everything cheaply, there must be a reason why it became more expensive, certainly not because of margins.
Hello Gutsu, in many parts of the world, including Switzerland, the prices of raw materials, packaging materials and energy are currently rising. The main reasons for this are a global shortage of certain raw materials and problems in the supply chains. Both factors are related to the effects and after-effects of the coronavirus pandemic and the war in Ukraine. As a result, we can no longer bear the costs ourselves and are passing them on to our customers in the form of a price increase.
