Furthermore, M-Budget bananas do not have the uniformity of Chiquita or Bio Max Havelaar bananas. They have an irregular shape and a higher proportion of optical quality defects. In this way, we enable producers to offer bananas with visual defects. Otherwise, banana farmers would have to sell them at the lowest prices on the domestic market or sell them to the processing industry. In addition, with relatively large units (around 1.5 to 1.8 kg), we can save costs in the areas of packaging and handling.
