Thank you very much What materials is this plate (see picture) made of? Because it also seems to contain cardboard?

According to the back of the pack, my favorite salmon is Norwegian farmed salmon.
The Norwegian government warns against Norwegian farmed salmon on its website. A new study (not the first) shows that salmon is one of the most contaminated foods by far, according to the author of the study, Jérôme Ruzzin. He is a biologist and researcher at the University of Bergen (Norway). He found toxic pesticides and dioxins in salmon at alarming levels. (after which the EU raised the limits!?) The poison is apparently in the fishmeal pellets, other researchers have been silenced. (Spiegel TV Wissen, good fish, bad fish)
The findings regarding massively contaminated salmon can already be found in a K-Tip article from 2004! That's how long the cover-up machinery has been working (see Internet). I should have known that someone would still pay the price for such a cheap product and that the producers' greed for sales and the high demand would have a negative impact on the product.
But it must also be said: If you want to poison yourself with farmed salmon; then Migros Brötlich salmon is by far the tastiest!

Dear guest Thank you for your message and your interest. We can assure you that there is no health risk from pesticides or other toxic substances in our M-Budget Brötlilachs. Our salmon does not contain any such pesticides or other toxic substances. In addition to the MSC, ASC, organic and Global GAP labels, there are, as you have already noticed, clear legal requirements regarding the ingredients of food - especially for fish. These requirements are regularly checked by both Migros and the cantonal authorities. So far, there have been no complaints about the ingredients in farmed salmon. We hope this has been helpful and wish you continued enjoyment. Your M-Infoline team

Unfortunately, it happened several times that the salmon was far too salty and therefore hardly edible!

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the oversalted salmon.
Should this happen again, please provide us with M-Data and the lot number of the affected pack. This will give us the opportunity to check the retained samples and production records and take the necessary countermeasures if necessary.
Kind regards from the M-Infoline team
