Could it be that the M-Budget mushrooms are the same as the M Classic?

Hello PeKuHu, thank you for your question. The product does indeed currently come from the same supplier. However, it is the case that the M-Classic version contains the nicer mushrooms. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

the cheap canned mushrooms from Coop (IDENTICAL in terms of price and weight) INCLUDE (!) the PRACTICAL "lever" for opening the can, so you don't need a can opener. So it is possible at Coop what is not (yet) possible at Migros - that's why I ask for the more practical closures...!

I still consider 2.5 g carbohydrates per 100 g to be rather high - on my current cans it says: less than 0.5 g KH per 100 g Could you please give these cans a lid that you could open WITHOUT a can opener/cutter - i.e. with a "lever" to pull? That would be very practical.

At M-Budget, savings are and can only be made on packaging. A tin can with a steel tear-off lid makes the product more expensive.

"M-Budget will and can only save on packaging." You're not serious, are you? There are many factors depending on the product.

Please reduce the amount of salt! Also a question, if this is allowed: What is the carbohydrate content of these mushrooms? Here it says 2.5 g per 100 g, but on the can I bought it says less than 0.5 g per 100 g. Which value is correct? Which value is correct? Thank you

Ciao Chou-fleur, thank you for your inquiry. The quality of our products is very important to us. We are constantly working to improve this and to offer high-quality, healthy food, including controlling the salt content. We source M-Budget Champignons de Paris sliced from different suppliers depending on availability. It is therefore possible that the declaration on the website is not always the same. However, you can rest assured that the information on the packaging is always correct. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I ate a tin of them today, they burned my teeth! what's in them?

Hi guest
Thank you very much for your comment.
We are sorry that your teeth are burning when you eat the mushrooms. We would like to check this in more detail.
We would therefore ask you to provide us with the lot number and the M-Data. Based on this data, our specialist department can check the production for quality deviations.
In the meantime, we wish you a pleasant day.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

I would buy the M-Budget mushrooms immediately and very regularly because of the good price if the (cooking) salt content were considerably lower, because with my mushroom consumption I would far exceed the daily limit with 0.7g of table salt per 100g... Of course, salt is probably a preservative here, but it wouldn't be needed for the taste of mushrooms. Perhaps it would still be possible with less table salt - about half - and with sea salt? Kind regards, "Twilight"

Hello guest

The average daily intake of salt per person in Switzerland is actually too high. We range between 12-15g, whereas the optimum amount would be 6-8g.
We are aware of this problem and, as you have correctly stated, the salt in M-Budget mushrooms is necessary for preservation. However, we primarily add it as a flavor carrier. With 100g of mushrooms you would have reached 10% of your daily recommended value.

However, as part of our generation promise, we will try to reduce the amount of salt so that the taste and quality do not suffer.

Hello M-Infoline Team
Thank you for your feedback. In my opinion, canned mushrooms would require little or no (sea) salt as a flavor carrier. Depending on their individual taste, each customer would then be free to decide whether they want to add seasoning.
Kind regards, "Twilight"
