Hello karinsteffen At Lyre's, I read: Always reseal with the original cork after opening. Do not leave the bottle open and do not replace the cap with a spout. Once opened, it should be refrigerated for optimum freshness. It should be consumed within 12 weeks of opening. Do not leave in the refrigerator. Best regardsFrederica
