1 question
Which country do the tomatoes for this product come from?
Good morning Killergorilla ...from Apulia and Tuscany in Italy ?? best regards Frederica
Hi Killergorilla, Frederica is right: the tomatoes come from Puglia and Tuscany. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello M-Infoline, the above information is 5 years old. I also noticed that the origin on the Passata bottle is much less clearly stated than on the Pelati cans (both Longobardi). Could you:
(a) reconfirm that they are still Italian tomatoes today?
b) check the name on the products themselves again and possibly adjust it?
Thank you!
Longobardi only uses Italian tomatoes.
Aniello Longobardi s.r.l uses only fresh Italian tomatoes from controlled and selectively chosen growing areas. In this way, the traceability of the products from the field to the point of sale can be guaranteed.
