It is now May and I still can't get the lamps to burn for more than 1-2 hours despite full sunlight. I suspect that the charging capacity of these lamps is simply too low. I have lamps that charge and burn even when it's cloudy.

Why is the battery power so weak? I bought the lamp in 3 colors and was thrilled at first sight. Fabric instead of paper is great. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed that after a whole day in the sun, the battery only lasted for 1-2 hours. I took the lamps down the next day and placed them directly in the sun. Unfortunately, the lighting time was not extended. A great pity as the lamps are otherwise very pretty and I wanted to give them as a gift. But I will think about it again.
Hello Igel-1964 Thank you for your question. We were happy to clarify this for you. Unfortunately, the current season, the intensity of the sun and the hours of sunshine do not yet allow the lanterns to reach a full charge. A light duration of 1-2 hours is good for the beginning of March. When fully charged (spring / summer), the lanterns light up for about 6 hours.
