Why are there no more big bags?
Guten Tag laufhund, thank you for your inquiry. We have had to discontinue the 7.5 kg bag due to changes in the product range. However, we do have two more in our range in 3 kg and 1.5 kg. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Well,
as an experienced nutritionist for dogs, I have to say that Migros is not really any good when it comes to dog food.
It is sad to see that you are now offering a new, very unsuitable dog food....In the last 50 years since we have had dry food, the sales of companies like Nestle may have increased, but the health of our dogs has deteriorated massively...
Dogs can compensate a lot, that's why they survive such a food, but 50% carbohydrates in the food, where a dog needs exactly ZERO % carbohydrates...you can hardly call something like that a good product...
Matzinger is one of the worst things we can give our dogs... This food is only used to process all the waste grain for profit
The state of health of many old dogs proves people like me right.
It would be extremely nice if Migros would take some responsibility and be the first major distributor to offer BARF food (raw food with fresh meat, vegetables, fruit)...what a sympathy bonus you would get
Hello zimmies
Thank you for your contribution. We are happy to discuss grains in pet food and BARF food as follows.
Our colleagues at PURINA love animals and they work every day to improve and extend the lives of our friends. It is true that not all pet owners have the same expectations of pet food (price limits, diet, convenience). Some cook for their dogs themselves and others prefer to buy a product from the various product lines that meet their different expectations.
All our products are adapted to the specific nutritional needs of dogs and are developed for dogs by scientists and nutrition experts. This includes Matzinger, which is a complete and balanced diet for healthy dogs. In addition to animal ingredients, plant-based ingredients are also important. Cereals are highly digestible thanks to the cooked extrusion process and provide insoluble fibers for regular digestion and good stool consistency. Cereals provide the dog with important minerals and vitamins. Grain is an important source of energy and nutrients.
BARF stands for "Biologically Appropriate Raw Food". According to scientific studies, dogs are omnivores and their bodies are naturally adapted to an omnivorous diet based on raw meat, bones and offal. BARF food also contains pureed fruit and vegetables, algae, yoghurt, various oils, brewer's yeast, etc. Bones are used to clean teeth.
Like all natural foods or diets, this natural type of food must be specifically adapted to the different needs of the dog, whether in terms of quantity or composition. Each dog is unique and has different energy needs depending on breed, activities, etc. It is therefore important that the dog owner has solid nutritional knowledge or seeks advice from a professional specialist if he wants to give his pet an adapted BARF diet. The majority of industrially manufactured products have been developed after many years of research in order to provide the highest quality food for our pets.
We can assure you that we make every effort to produce high quality products for pets and, as already mentioned, a BARF diet is very complex in terms of composition and the right amount to cover the various needs of different dogs (breed, size, age, etc.).
We hope this information has been helpful and wish you a sunny day.
Best regards
Your M-Infoline team
