Dear Sir or Madam, I have a question about your fire bowl. This fire bowl is made of steel and is untreated, which means that it will rust over time. However, I have read in the comments that it is heavily coated with grease to protect it from rust. Could you please explain to me how I should treat the fire bowl to make it 100% rust-resistant and fireproof? Hello Ilhan Thank you for your question about the care of our FUEGO fire bowl. 🌋 The oil you noticed is actually from production and is not intended for rust protection. Unfortunately, there is no method to make the fire bowl 100% rust-resistant, but you can reduce the risk of rust by protecting it from the weather, for example by covering it or storing it in a dry place. Another option would be to treat it with rust inhibitor after each use, although this can be quite time-consuming. But don't worry, thanks to the material thickness of 1.5 mm, rusting through is only to be expected in around 60 years! Your Migros specialist store team 🔥
