Can the bucket be put in the dishwasher for cleaning?
Hello Tini111, thank you for your inquiry. Our compost bin is made of polypropylene (PP), which is hard, elastic, unbreakable and semi-transparent. The plastic is dimensionally stable in the temperature range from -40 °C to +80 °C and can be recycled in an environmentally friendly way. The PP material can be cleaned in the dishwasher or by hand. Care should be taken not to scratch the surface. Abrasive cleaning agents should not be used. However, the bucket must be dried by hand after the wash cycle, as the stored heat is not sufficient to allow the water to evaporate completely. We still recommend that you clean the product by hand.
