Dear Migros I think it's great that this product offers something that consists of over 60% concentrated beef bone broth. Unfortunately, the rest of the ingredients make me lose my appetite. Hence my question: there is the good old meat extract from Liebig, which is so hard to find. Couldn't Migros also offer a similar product that consists only of meat and, if you like, bone broth and is thickened into a long-lasting paste? I know it will be expensive, but it would be a good way of doing something about food waste. Hard-to-find pieces and bone broth would certainly make a great base for sauces and soups without any additives. Ditto chicken meat extract from soup chickens. I now buy chicken and beef extract from Hagen Grote for a lot of money. But I could also spend that money at Migros if they had a comparable product. What does Migros think? Best regards, IchNochmal
Hi IchNochmal, I am a big fan of Liebig extract, but unfortunately as far as I know it is no longer produced. I still know Hagen Grote, but thanks for the tip. Dowa Lebensmittel AG also has it, but unfortunately there is still a small quantity surcharge for shipping 🤨 which makes the whole thing even more expensive. The only thing I noticed was that the last pack of Liebig was labelled exclusively in Italian. However, Migros could play a pioneering role in food waste prevention with this retro product.
