As a big fan of all monastery garden teas, and here on behalf of all these teas, I ask: couldn't the respective herbs that are contained be listed on the individual bag packaging?
Hello zinnie, thank you very much for your suggestion. Unfortunately, the space on the packaging is limited, so we cannot list all the herbs it contains. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Has there been an ingredient adjustment to this tea? I don't remember it having (this much?) peppermint in it before....
Hello _Hans_, thank you for your inquiry. We can confirm that we have not made any adjustments to the recipe for this tea. Our supplier has also tasted his retained samples and could not find any deviations. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you very much! Then maybe it's because of the new packaging that I have the feeling that it tastes different. Many thanks for the information!

Hello, I think the stomach and intestinal tea from Klostergarten is great. It really helps me when I have a funny stomach. However, I also regret that the tea bags are no longer wrapped in paper (which I used to throw in the waste paper) but have been wrapped in plastic for a while now. I am also someone who buys organic wherever possible. Unfortunately, this type of tea is not organic. Are there any efforts being made to change this? Especially when it comes to teas, many people pay attention to organic quality. Best regards, Steffi
Hello Steffi7, thank you for your message. We are pleased that we have inspired you with the product and that it is helping you with stomach problems. We would like to take this opportunity to inform you about the packaging: Teas with a medicinal effect must be approved by the authorities. This is because the ingredients contained must have a minimum content of the active ingredients and/or the lead substances, and the bags have always been flavor-sealed to ensure that the Klostergarten teas retain this minimum content during storage. Even though the sachets of the tea bags used to feel like paper, they were made of a plastic called "polyvinylidene chloride-paper composite". This meant that the sachets could not be recycled and had to be disposed of with household waste. The new packaging is now made of 100% polypropylene, which means that it can be disposed of in the plastic collection. As far as your inquiry about quality is concerned, there are currently no plans to offer the tea in organic form. We have gladly submitted your request to our specialist department. We cannot promise you that we will succeed in introducing such a variant. Nevertheless, feedback like yours helps us to focus on the needs of our customers and make adjustments where necessary. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why are the tea bags suddenly wrapped in plastic? I think that's a shame!!!
Good evening Tini82 M-Infoline answered Tonton17 on the same topic:[...]Klostergarten herbal teas are medicinal herbal teas. They have a therapeutic effect and are approved by the authorities. The ingredients contained in medicinal herbal teas must have a minimum content of active ingredients and/or key substances. This is the reason why the manufacturer has modified the bags since mid-2020. The products thus correspond to their usual, legally prescribed quality. The use of these plastic bags is very important.[...]Best regards Frederica
Hello Tini82, thank you for your inquiry. As Frederica has already explained, this product is a medicinal tea. Due to the medicinal ingredients contained in the Klostergarten medicinal teas and to ensure compliance with the legal requirements regarding the minimum content of the active ingredients and the lead substances, the Klostergarten medicinal teas have always been packaged in aroma-sealed packaging. To ensure that the products meet their usual and legally required qualities, it is essential that we continue to use a plastic outer bag. The new material is not a polyvinylidene chloride-paper composite, as was previously the case, but a mono-material, polypropylene. This is one of the most frequently used plastics for packaging and is currently classified as the most recyclable in the plastics sector. We try to design our packaging as ecologically as possible in compliance with the legal requirements. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team

I've been drinking this tea for about ten years now, and it's saved me from hundreds of stomach aches, but yesterday, when I bought a packet at a migros in Fribourg, I noticed that the individual packages in the time pack are now made of plastic instead of paper... I think that's a shame, is it only temporary? thanks :)
Hello Tonton17, thank you for your inquiry about Klostergarten herbal tea. We're delighted you like it so much. Klostergarten herbal teas are medicinal teas. These products have a therapeutic effect and are authorized by the authorities. The ingredients contained in medicinal herbal teas must have a minimum content of active ingredients and/or key substances, which is why the manufacturer has been modifying the sachets since mid-2020. As a result, the products are now of the usual quality required by law. The use of these plastic bags is very important. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Can I drink the tea during pregnancy without hesitation?
Hello Sunnyana95, thank you for your question. This tea is a soothing herbal tea blend with the following ingredients: 25 % peppermint leaves, 20 % fennel, 15 % aniseed, 15 % chamomile flowers, 15 % caraway, 5 % lemon balm leaves, 5 % cinnamon bark. With regard to the recipe, there is no requirement that you should not drink 2-3 cups of this tea a day during pregnancy. We recommend that you consult your doctor. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Guest
hello!
Who knows which monastery this tea comes from?

Guest
that's a fantasy name, and it doesn't come from a Kloser...l
Dear guest
Thank you for your interest.
The monastery garden teas do not come from the monastery. The products bear the name because many herbs and medicinal herbs used to be planted in monastery gardens.
We wish you an enjoyable week. Your M-Infoline Team
