Every year, at the start of the cold season, this tea is missing from all stores in the Solothurn region. It's a mystery to me that nothing is learned from this.
Hello migroskinddd, thank you for your comment. The desired item is currently available in the following stores near you: Solothurn Öufi & Solothurn Baselstrasse. The tea is also available in Derendingen or Gerlafingen. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why are the packages in the pack suddenly made of plastic? Wasn't it better before with paper (plastic/environment)?
The Klostergarten medicinal teas have a medicinal effect and are officially approved. For the ingredients contained in medicinal teas, a minimum content of the active ingredients and / or the lead substances is prescribed. Due to the medicinal ingredients contained in the Klostergarten medicinal teas and to ensure the legal requirements for the minimum content of the active ingredients and the lead substances, the Klostergarten medicinal teas have always been packaged in aroma-sealed packaging. To ensure that the products meet their usual and legally required qualities, it is essential to continue to use a plastic outer bag. The new material is not a polyvinylidene chloride-paper composite, as was previously the case, but a mono-material, polypropylene. This is one of the most commonly used plastics for packaging and is currently classified as the most recyclable in the plastics sector. We try to design our packaging as ecologically as possible in compliance with legal requirements. See below
But previously the outer bags were made of paper. So not "...to continue using a plastic outer bag."
Hello Kijado, it was previously a polyvinylidene chloride paper composite that could not be recycled - the "paper" belonged in the household waste. The current packaging is recyclable. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

This Klostergarten brand is actually just a tea, so why is it sold as a medicine - the herbs are food 😊🧐
Hello Ipman144, Klostergarten teas with monk's head are Swissmedic-certified medicinal teas. The effect of the herbs can be seen on the packaging. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why are the tea bags now packaged in plastic? It worked for years with paper, didn't it? Best regards and thanks for the answer.

From what age can I give the tea to my child?
Hello Cloede87654, thank you for your inquiry about the tea. The teas can be given to children from the age of three to drink. After consulting our specialist department, we can tell you that the tea does not contain any ingredients that would be harmful to children in any way. We recommend drinking two cups a day warm if necessary. The fact that the tea is not recommended for children under 12 is due to the lack of medical tests. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why are the bags now plasticized? The paper packaging was much better in terms of handling and feel. I also doubt that plasticized packaging is more ecological! Or are they?

Dear Migros team, is this tea suitable for pregnant women? Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Hello Le-Ann Thank you for your question. The standard approval monograph for this cold tea does not state anything about use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. However, the blend contains 20% elderflower. As there are no sufficient studies on this, tea infusions with elderflower should not necessarily be drunk by pregnant women. However, we have no scientific information that would prove that pregnant women should not drink this tea blend. We would like to point out, however, that this is a medicinal product that should only be drunk over a certain period of time and not permanently. We would also recommend consulting your doctor or midwife. We wish you a good week and send you our best regards from the M-Infoline team.
