Unfortunately still the same problem, didn't look at it and got the Jingold. The fruit from this supplier is inedible. The stalk inside is so hard that you can hardly eat the fruit and it doesn't taste good either. In contrast to the real Kiwi Gold from Zespri.

Unfortunately, due to the climatic conditions, kiwifruit from Italy do not have the same sugar content as kiwifruit from New Zealand. The kiwis are harvested in Italy in November. Unfortunately, there were too few days of sunshine in Italy and the kiwis have even lower sugar levels this year. As a result, the kiwi stone is hard and the kiwis are harder to scoop out.

Until recently, you always had Kiwi Gold from the Zespri brand in your range. These tasted excellent and the quality was always impeccable. For some months now, you have been offering Jingold brand kiwis. These are absolutely inedible, they are either still sour or already overripe and the white core is as hard as a rock. Can you switch back to Zespri kiwis?

We try to guarantee this by setting clear requirements for our suppliers on the one hand and by carrying out strict checks on incoming goods on the other. The New Zealand season lasts from May to November, depending on the quantities harvested. Our Kiwi Gold are not Fairtrade products. The Max Havelaar label is a label that supports small farmers and employees in developing countries. Kiwi Gold comes from Italy and New Zealand and therefore does not fulfill an important basic condition of Max Havelaar - namely to be a developing country.

Of course, it is important to us to always offer very good quality. We try to guarantee this by setting clear requirements for our suppliers on the one hand and by carrying out strict checks on incoming goods on the other. However, certain quality defects sometimes only become apparent after some time and are barely visible. However, we are constantly working to prevent this as far as possible.
Your information was of course immediately forwarded to the responsible departments in Purchasing and Quality Assurance. In general, you can return products that you are not satisfied with to the relevant store and receive a replacement if necessary.
