Incorrect price calculation? The 1 kg bag costs CHF 1.00. The 2 kg bag normally costs CHF 3.70 and in the offer CHF 2.95..... shouldn't it cost CHF 2.00?
Hello Unknown77, thank you for your question. The 1-franc product was a special "vitamin franc" promotion. However, this promotion was only for the 1 kg bags. The promotion on the 2.5 kg bags is another special offer, which we are offering correctly at 2.95 francs instead of 3.70 francs. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Are these potatoes completely GMO-free?
Hello Rushena, genetically modified organisms (GMOs) may not be cultivated in Switzerland. The potatoes in our range are therefore free from genetic engineering. I have already bought this product several times and always had to sort it out in the store first because most of the packaging was soaked with water. Unfortunately, the "dry" paper packaging doesn't hold up well either and tears very quickly. I also have the feeling that the potatoes don't last as long, but that could also be due to the quality of the potatoes?! They advertise that they save 140 tons of plastic. That's true, but you also use about 2.5 times more material for the same packaging than before. The plastic packaging had a weight of 37.5g/m2 and the paper packaging a weight of 100g/m2... You are using a renewable product, but you need 2.5 times as much material as before. According to your calculation, you now need approx. 373 tons of paper, compared to 140 tons for the plastic packaging... Is it really more sustainable? I also noticed that the net is made of plastic, so surely that shouldn't be recycled as paper? The net cannot be separated from the paper.
Hello VEPADA, thank you very much for your detailed input. We also realized that the packaging is not yet ideal. For this reason, we are working hard to improve it. The paper bag can be recycled in its entirety. The net is made of cellulose. Your feedback has been placed with our specialist department. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Paper for the sake of the environment, but these bags tear just looking at them. Despite taking care, I have never brought a bag home whole!
Hello RIPARO, thank you for your message. We are sorry that the bags have often torn. As you rightly point out, we opted for the current version for reasons of sustainability. With this adaptation, we are able to save around 140 tons of plastic per year. It is not in our interest that the method does not work as desired. Based on your message, we are reviewing the products and making stabilizations. Such improvements cannot be made overnight. In the meantime, we recommend that you hold the bags at the top and support them with your other hand if necessary. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, is it normal that after 2 weeks these potatoes contain so many soft potatoes that can no longer be used and the remaining ones all contain traces of eating, so in the end there is so much waste that hardly anything remains of the 2.5 kg sales weight?
Hello AS00, thank you for your message. We appreciate you drawing our attention to deviations. Because such goods do not meet our requirements. So that we can investigate the causes, we would ask you to send us the lot number (starting with L) and the packing date. It would also be helpful for us to know how you store the products and in which store you purchased them. Thank you in advance for your valuable support. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, 2 weeks ago I got these potatoes in Migros at a price of CHF 4.95, now they cost CHF 5.95. Why does the price of potatoes change so often?
Hello Chiki2021, thank you for your question. We will be happy to look into it. Can you tell us in which Migros you noticed this difference? Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Good evening I always shop at Migros Belp. I have noticed that the price changes from time to time. Sometimes they are 3.90, sometimes 5.95, sometimes 4.90. Greetings Chiki2011
CHF 3.90 was the price for old potatoes. The price of new potatoes is always high at the start of the season, as there is still very little new produce available. The producer price is adjusted nationally according to the quantity available. We pass on all price adjustments to our customers. your M-Infoline Team

Hello Lately I have noticed that the potatoes at Migros taste sweet. Have you changed the storage technique? An expert told me that potatoes that are stored too cold become sweet. Is this true? Potatoes should not taste sweet. Can you help me? Thank you very much
Hello Olympus, thank you for your question. We will be happy to clarify this for you. Please let us know in which store you buy the potatoes so that we can contact the relevant specialist department. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

With waxy potatoes, there is often Ditta but almost never CHARLOTTE, which is a great shame.
Hello Wipis, thank you for your message. We stock the Charlotte variety in the floury line. However, this is an older variety that is degenerating - so there are fewer and fewer of them. The new varieties are also increasingly being used in cultivation. Due to its shelf life, we no longer have any Charlotte in stock. The variety is expected to be back in the blue line from September. Why are there almost never more Charlotte potatoes? These are the best!
Hello Wipis, we also think they are the best :-) What exactly do you mean that they are almost non-existent? Best regards, your M-Infoline team
