Can the box be put in the oven like this without toxic fumes or do I have to transfer it to a mold before baking?
Hello Michimichim, thank you for your inquiry. We will be happy to help you. Both the cardboard tape and the foil must be removed before preparation. Then spread the marinade evenly over the potatoes and mix well. Then cook the marinated vegetables in the tray for approx. 30 minutes at 180 degrees in a preheated oven until they are firm to the bite. You can extend the cooking time if necessary. Stir the potatoes again before serving. (The dish is ovenproof (up to 220 degrees)). Caution: The dish gets very hot.
The following applies to preparation in the pan: Cook the marinated potatoes for approx. 30 minutes on a low heat, covered, until the desired firmness to the bite. Stir several times during this time.
Here's another tip from us: season the prepared potatoes with fleur du sel. The rosemary and paprika flavor goes perfectly with meat side dishes, such as pork. Diced bacon and a fried egg, sausages - such as cipollata - or vegetarian grilled cheese are other ideal accompaniments. The small potatoes also go well with an aperitif.
