Yogurt contains modified starch. Starch from what? Is the yogurt gluten-free? Or does it contain wheat starch. It is not indicated. Thank you

Which sugar is used to replace lactose 🍯?

Hello Bricolette, thank you for your inquiry. There are two manufacturing processes for lactose-free production.

1. Enzymatic hydrolysis

The first process is called "enzymatic hydrolysis". An enzyme is added to the milk to split the milk sugar into two simple sugars: glucose and galactose. Following this process, the milk, which no longer contains lactose, has a slightly sweeter taste than conventional cow's milk. It can still be called "milk" under the Food Ordinance.

2. The good day process

The second method, patented by Emmi, is the so-called "good day" process. It involves removing all the lactose present in cow's milk. The lactose is then split into galactose and glucose. These simple sugars are then added back to the milk in quantities corresponding to the milk's usual sweet taste. This lactose-free milk can no longer be called "milk" within the meaning of the Food Ordinance. It is therefore marketed as a "lactose-free milk drink".

The Elsa Group uses the 1st variant, as described we do not replace the milk sugar by another, but it is transformed. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

On the subject of "500g Classic lactose-free yoghurt aha!", M-Infoline writes that demand is too low. This makes me wonder who is judging this. Unfortunately, the product is not available to buy. The 150g tubs are regularly sold out in my Migros. The product can't be doing that badly. Couldn't the large tubs be introduced as a trial?

Hello mybluefish, we have good news for you. We are launching a bulk pack in calendar week 4. The product is already available in some cooperatives. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

In the meantime, the larger pack has actually been added to the range. I have already bought some and was actually going to do so again today. But then I noticed the price per kg. The yoghurt costs CHF 5.20/kg in the large pack and CHF 4.70/kg in the 150g tub. Who does that? Less packaging costs more money? I'll just stick with the small tubs and wait for the product to disappear from the shelves again due to "too little demand". However, this problem is homemade.

Hello mybluefish, thank you for your post. The bulk pack is an organic item: https://produkte.migros.ch/bio-joghurt-nature-aha Therefore the price per kilo is more expensive. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Still no room? High protein; now 1kg peach and passion fruit new on the shelf ..... ?????? Where have you found customers who want this? People have been asking for other varieties of Aha Nature yogurt here for years

Hello Djbettyq, thank you very much for your message. We are indeed currently discussing introducing a larger pack of aha! classic yogurt. The product is already available in some cooperatives. Unfortunately, we can't promise you anything. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Allegedly no room for 500g AHA yogurt and no interest in 1.5% lactose-free yogurt. But you already have room for new products "TEURE" OH Protein. I can see that there is a need and desire for AHA yogurt existing 500g and 1.5% new. But Migros is unfortunately not interested..... Can you at least lower the PRICE? 150g for 70 RP is much more expensive than the usual Migros yogurt 180g for 55 Rp. I don't see why the yogurt is more expensive than the usual yogurt. Unfortunately, I can't choose not to tolerate lactose. I'm being punished for that too. I have to pay more everywhere than HEALTHY people. It's a pity that you don't meet your customers' wishes.

Exactly: no space, but for unnecessary products

Hi djbetty, we understand that it is annoying for a lactose intolerant person to have to rely on special products and not be able to benefit from all the variety on offer. Aha! products are more complex to produce, which - unfortunately - is also reflected in the price. Regarding the 500 g portion: it is important for our range that we appeal to a large customer group. We don't currently see this happening with the larger portion. Nevertheless, we are constantly trying to adapt our Aha! line and even have seasonal products in the large stores, for example, which we change every six months to offer variety. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Blah blah, take out the useless sugar stuff. Finally a 1.5% fat LF Jogi is more than necessary.... you make excuses and justify everything instead of finally responding to customer requests

I also hope that you will finally include 500 g of lactose-free yogurt in your range.

Hello Jamolino, unfortunately we can't fulfill your wish, as there are no plans for a large "lactose-free" cup at the moment. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

It really would be about time and highly desirable to introduce a lactose-free natural yoghurt with only 1.5% fat and in a 500 g tub. It's funny that Switzerland has such a big problem with this. The same goes for reduced-fat cheese. In Germany this is absolutely no problem

Hello indios, thank you for your message about lactose-free low-fat yogurt. We have a lactose-free yogurt (item no. 2050.018) in our range. We also have Nature yoghurt from Oh! High Protein (item no. 2052.269) in a 400 g tub, which is also lactose-free. Nevertheless, we will check your input and implement it if necessary. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I know them, I'm looking for a 400 or 500 gram cup of lactose-free yogurt with 1.5% fat or less. The OH high protein cup is more like quark and too expensive. And I don't need high protein!!!!!!!!!!!

Once again - I don't want any alternatives here when I write exactly what I'm talking about. Don't always look for excuses, but take action.

Why are these not available in 500g and 1kg in the Zurich region? Why don't you have lactose-free yogurts with 1.5% fat content?

Thank you for your question djbetty. Unfortunately, the demand for these sizes is too low. That's why we only offer the small cup at the moment. We are monitoring developments and if demand increases, we will respond by adjusting our range accordingly. We also currently see too little potential for lactose-free yogurts with a fat content of 1.5%. However, we will be happy to take your request on board. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I personally find your answer unsatisfactory. How do you know that customers do not want this? I have never seen either of the two desired products in Uürich. I have never taken part in a survey either. For 3 years there have been posts here with the request 1.5%....

So I am also totally in favor of a 500gr cup with reduced fat content!!! This is clearly missing in Migros. I always have to buy it abroad. Migros throws out so many things that customers love so much, and the selection of new sugary yogurts is so large that it would really be possible and, above all, about time to offer a 500g tub with 1.5% fat or less!

Hello djbetty. We cannot give you exact details. We only have limited space for large packs. These are reserved for the most popular varieties. To be able to offer a lactose-free product, we have to take another one out of the range that is bought much more often. The number of spaces is limited for large packs. We would have to discontinue a lot of current items. That's why it's not an option for us. We check demand on an ongoing basis and make adjustments to the range if the results are right. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

So that's another typical Migros excuse!!! Instead, you're putting more and more nonsensical stuff in the stores (e.g. protein butter!) or taking out good products. You haven't been meeting customer needs for a long time!

Is it not possible to produce a 1.5% fat version with bifidus? I already asked about this 2 years ago and they said they were working on it ...

Hello Kymba00, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we only have a limited number of product slots. The demand from our customers is decisive for the selection of products. We currently see too little potential for the desired combination, but we will check it occasionally. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why are the nutritional values in the small and large pots not the same? Both are natural, and why does aha still not have a 1.5% fat level or lower like most other yogurts?

Hello Kymba64 Both yogurts contain the same ingredients and have the same recipe. The difference in nutritional values can be explained by the calculation formula. The new nutritional value is calculated using a new formula, which leads to this difference. The tolerance of the calculated value can be between +/- 15% (rounding rule). In principle, it is also possible to produce this yoghurt with a lower fat content. Initial tests have already been carried out. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team
