Is it true that this product contains microplastic? What is this good for?
Hello Stefan, thank you for your inquiry. Our own industry, Mibelle AG, does not use microplastics in any of its cosmetics and toothpastes. As an alternative, they use particles of natural origin in their products. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
However, according to Codecheck ( https://www.codecheck.info/kosmetik_koerperpflege/koerperpflege/seifen/ean_7630028609591/id_1871628119/I_am_Cremeseife_Milk_Honey.pro ) the product contains styrene/acrylates copolymer. What is correct now?
Hi Stefan, thank you very much for your feedback. The acrylate polymers and other soluble polymers mainly used in cosmetics are biodegradable, so they are completely eliminated from wastewater in sewage treatment plants. In contrast to microplastic particles, they do not accumulate in the environment. Furthermore, they are completely non-toxic to aquatic organisms. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
