According to news reports, Migros is to divest itself of several sub-brands or adjacent brands such as M Electronics, perhaps a good thing for not spreading itself too thinly in other brands. Thank you for your super fast and reassuring reply. I'm proud to be a Migros fan. I think I buy 90% of my groceries at Migros and about 10% at Coop. Sometimes Manor Food.
I never go to France for these purchases, nor to the German competitors. Unfortunately, the Swiss mentality is becoming like in France, where it's bad to succeed. Migros has always been an emblem in Switzerland, like La Poste, CFF etc. There's just a lack of small stores, and also in the mountains, compared with Coop. Otherwise, the stores are nicer, better organized, with a better managed range and availability (how much stock and where on the Migros website and Migipedia). Superb successes like Digitec~Galaxus (a name could stay) , Banque Migros etc. I regret a little the Migros cafeterias which are disappearing or becoming smaller. But otherwise Migros remains Migros 😘 My reference store is Migros Onex but I like the big Migros Balexert too. Best regards
