Hello Is the formulation now silicone-free again (as of April 2023)? There is no longer any silicone on the list of contents, but the note on the front of the pack is missing. That's why I'm a bit confused right now. 😅 Thank you for your reply!

Hello Sathunah, thank you for your inquiry. The I am Intense Moisture Conditioner has been produced with the same silicone-free formula since the end of 2020. There have been no changes since then. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

The product was great without silicones. It's a real shame that all the products in this range now contain silicones. I will no longer buy this product, but I hope Migros takes the feedback here seriously and we can soon buy this product again without silicones.

Dear guest
Thank you for your feedback.
The fact that silicones are bad is certainly true for some consumers and hairdressers. However, hair, like skin, is very individual and opinions differ.
We have informed the relevant specialist department about your message. We are happy to recommend I am Natural hair products - these are free from silicones. The Belherbal and pH Balance lines also contain no silicone.
We hope this has been helpful and wish you a good week. Your M-Infoline Team

There has been a delivery problem with this product for some time. How much longer do you think it will last?

Dear guest
Thank you for your request and your patience.
This conditioner should be available again from calendar week 27.
We apologize for the waiting time.

I also find it outrageous that the shampoo, conditioner, mask and oil now all contain silicone. Earlier it was exactly THE reason why I bought the products, because they were silicone-free. I thought it was brilliant from Migros. And the combability was really great. But I won't be buying the products any more either. Even the professional hairdresser advises against using silicones and the combability has deteriorated anyway.
Another huge mistake by Migros and a big step backwards!

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you are no longer satisfied with our I am Hair Intense Moisture products.
The perception of whether silicone is bad depends on the consumer. Hair, like skin, is very individual.
However, we will of course take your feedback on board and inform the specialist department accordingly.
Have a nice day and see you soon in your Migros!

That's such a shame about the silicone.
It was a sensational product, quite simply the best conditioner we've ever had. I bought it BECAUSE it was silicone-free.

Incidentally, I don't think it's a good idea to simply remove a reference to a product relaunch without pointing out a new formulation.
I had confidence in this product and had to realize by chance that it no longer deserved it. If I had continued to use it for months in the belief that it was still silicone-free, I would have been really angry!

Dear guest
Thank you very much for your review. We are very sorry that you are disappointed with the product.
We are currently looking into whether we can offer I am care products without silicones again, as we have already received a lot of feedback.
We naturally take the opinions of our customers seriously. But we can't promise you anything at the moment.
Kind regards

But the funny thing is that the previous product without silicone was just as good, the combability was very, very good.
Silicones are not good, especially if you use such products and then want to tint/color your hair. The colors are poorly absorbed.

Dear guest
Thank you for your contribution.
The perception of whether silicone is bad depends on the consumer. Hair, like skin, is very individual.
It is possible that color retention is impaired after using products containing silicone, but this does not necessarily have to be the case. On the contrary, most users do not experience any problems.
We wish you a nice day.

The answer is not correct. Because the opinion comes from the specialists of very good hairdressers. Products containing silicone are not good and put a strain on the hair. What's more, the color doesn't hold well, even from the hairdresser.
The combability of the above-mentioned product was very good when there was no silicone in it. So absolutely unnecessary.
Once again, a product has been made worse. This is probably Migros' new philosophy.

We were always very happy with the old conditioner. Unfortunately, the product now contains silicone, which is why we won't be buying it again in future. We also think the new packaging is terrible. It's a shame that great products always have to be changed and made worse.

It's simply incomprehensible: a product is top of the range and receives an award (precisely because it's silicone-free), people like it precisely because it's silicone-free - and Migros makes a new composition with silicone. This is certainly not what customers want!
I don't like this policy at Migros and it's getting worse and worse.

Hello guest

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that you preferred the silicone-free product. The fact that silicones have fallen into disrepute is due to various misunderstandings in the past and the factually unfounded devaluation by Ökotest in Germany. Many hair care brands have tried to make a name for themselves with "without silicones". There are people whose hair is weighed down by hair products containing silicones. However, the various silicones (a silicone oil was used here) are very good hair care substances and there is actually no general, objective argument against them. In order to achieve excellent combability and an optimum effect, the use of silicones is essential. The hair is excellently cared for and protected from environmental influences.

Unfortunately, I don't like the new design at all and why are there suddenly silicones in the conditioner? What a shame!

Hello everyone
Thank you very much for your comments. We regret that you do not like the new design of the I am Hair Care Intense Moisture conditioner. We have forwarded your input to the relevant specialist department.
The I am hair products have been revised in collaboration with hair specialists. We have paid particular attention to excellent effectiveness. The use of silicones was essential in order to achieve excellent combability and an optimum effect. The hair is excellently cared for and protected from environmental influences.
The formulations of the I am shampoos are still silicone-free. If you would like a silicone-free conditioner, we recommend the Belherbal Bamboo Wheat Conditioner (article number 5147.260). This is a conditioner based on natural ingredients.
We hope you enjoy trying it out.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team
