Hi, I'd like to know if it's possible to mix the colors dark blonde 212 and golden brown 230 to get an intermediate color, and if it's possible to keep the halves of the two tubes for the next color. And if it's possible to keep the halves of the 2 tubes for the next coloring. Thank you for your answer. :)

Hello SchweizerSchoggi, thank you for your inquiry. A reddish result after applying a (mostly) light hair color usually indicates that
1. the application time was too short or
2. an insufficient amount of coloring mixture was applied.
A combination of the two points mentioned above is also possible. This is due to the fact that every coloration destroys the pigments naturally present in the hair. At the same time, artificial pigments enter the hair. The larger black-brown pigments react more quickly than the smaller red-yellow pigments. Interrupting the coloring process therefore makes the result appear reddish because there are still red-yellow pigments in the hair. The same happens with insufficient application. Furthermore, the hair changes over time. An increasing proportion of gray can also influence the result in the direction of red-yellow. To avoid a possible copper tint, we recommend that you extend the application time (up to 40 minutes according to the instructions for use) or use the contents of 2 packs. We hope these lines help to clarify the situation. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
