great pads, I've been using them for many years and am completely happy with them. Of course they are oily, but waterproof mascara won't come off without them. And yes, they are a little too dry for me too, which is why I add a little oily eye make-up remover from the bottle to the top of each new tin. This then seeps through so that by the end each pad has a good amount of oil. I briefly hold the oily pads under hot water before removing my make-up - this combination simply removes EVERYTHING in a very short time and without any rubbing, and I only need to dry my eyes with a soft tissue to make them oil-free. For me, make-up removal couldn't be more gentle and thorough.
