Works best on primary skin lesions when they are on the way or already there and also when they have a certain infectiousness. However, I can imagine that some people don't like the product because it may sting etc. during the first few applications, but this goes away with time. However, you have to make sure that you apply a moisturizing cream to the skin a few hours beforehand, especially when applying to larger areas such as comedones, otherwise there will be side effects due to the drying out of the skin.
