What does the "specific" in the promise "Eliminates 99.9% of specific bacteria, fungi, viruses and allergens" mean?
Hello jburri The manufacturer states in German: Dettol cleaning wipes remove 99.9% of bacteria (e.g. E.Coli bacteria, salmonella) from water-washable surfaces. Best regardsFrederica
Hello jburri, thank you very much for your message. Dettol products contain biocidal active ingredients. The disinfecting wipes have been tested for their effectiveness in eliminating the bacteria, viruses and allergens listed on the back of the packaging. When used as directed, they guarantee to eliminate 99.9% of them. Biocidal products may only be marketed if they are authorized in accordance with the Biocidal Products Ordinance.
