Dear Migros, has the consistency of the brownie mix been changed? It feels grainy for some time now, as if there are more sugar-like ingredients in it?
Hi san23, we did not make any changes to the recipe for our Homemade Brownies. Can you please let us know the best-before date and the batch number? We would then be happy to check this in more detail. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
I have already noticed L1293 31.10.22 the last 3-4 times. So it's not me or the butter/egg.
Hello san23, we did not make any changes to the recipe. It is possible that the butter is too hot and therefore grains during mixing. This then looks a little grainy, but should disappear again when baking. It is important to always stir the mixture well so that the sugar is better dissolved. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello Has the recipe been changed? Unfortunately, they no longer taste as good as before. Kind regards
Hello ClaudiaLehmann, thank you very much for your message. We're sorry that you didn't like the brownies as much last time. The recipe for the brownies has remained the same for years. To check the quality, we bake a sample of each batch and taste it. Our specialist department has not noticed any difference. The baking time is extremely important. If the brownies are baked too long or too intensively, they become dry and lose their taste. We hope you enjoy them again next time. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Brownies did not turn out well although the recipe was followed exactly. Dough seemed far too heavy and sticky due to the small amount of liquid. After 22 minutes in a fan oven at 160 degrees, everything remained as if not baked and did not rise at all. Is this recipe really correct?
I don't know exactly what your brownies looked like, but real brownies should be moist and fudgy. They shouldn't rise much either. I think 160°C is a bit low. PS: Brownies taste best after a night in the fridge.

Can you bake the brownies without the pecans? Do the rest of the ingredients stay exactly the same?
Hello globine Thank you for your inquiry. You can of course omit the pecan nuts - the recipe will not change. If you have any further questions, we will be happy to help! Best regards from the M-Infoline team

Hello. I also think the brownies are very tasty. Unfortunately, I've noticed recently that the baking tray smells very unhealthily toxic. Especially when the brownies are in the oven, it smells corrosively toxic in addition to the fine chocolate scent and the brownies take on the flavor. Has nobody noticed this yet? It didn't used to be the case and I must confess that I haven't bought them recently for this reason. It would be very nice if you could check this review so that our family could soon enjoy these delicious brownies again without any worries. Kind regards
Hello guest
Thank you very much for your comment. We are sorry that you are not satisfied with the brownies lately.
Could you please give us the best-before date and the lot number of the brownie pack in question? Then we can initiate the appropriate checks with our supplier.
This would be very helpful so that we can give you a clarifying answer.
Many thanks in advance and best regards from the M-Infoline team

Exactly! The baking tin of the brownies baking mix has been smelling very unpleasant for a few months now! At last I'm no longer the only one who seems to be bothered by it!
I have already written a complaint to MIGROS; the only reply was: nothing has been changed...

The best brownies I know! Also quick and easy to prepare. One small detail that could be improved: "Score" the nut packet so you could open it by hand, that would save looking for scissors.
Dear guest
We are delighted that you like our brownies so much.
Thank you also for your comments, which we will take into account when we make the next revision.
If you have any other suggestions, praise and criticism are important to us!
We wish you a good start to the new week and look forward to welcoming you back to Migros soon.

can someone write down the recipe on the back of the brownies here? then i would know what to put on the shopping list... otherwise i'll just have to misuse the packet as a note...
Hello guest
Here is the information on the back of the packaging:
The pack contains:
1 bag of baking mix, 380g each
1 bag of pecan nuts, 110g each
1 bakingfrom
You will also need:
1 egg 50-55g each
100g butter or margarine
2 tbsp water
Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan 160°C). Assemble the enclosed baking tin according to the instructions. Melt the butter or margarine. Place the baking mix, pecan nuts, egg, melted butter or margarine and water in a bowl and mix with a ladle. Place the baking tin on a baking tray, pour the mixture into the prepared baking tin and smooth out.
Bake:
Bake for approx. 20-22 minutes on the baking tray (second lowest rack). Leave the baked brownies to cool in the baking tin and cut into cubes.
We hope you enjoy your Guetzle and wish you all the best.
