According to the IP Suisse label, the CO2 balance is also assessed. If Swiss milk was first transported abroad, this part of the certification would have to be questioned. Therefore: where is our Heidi butter produced?

Hello LupsiRuth, the butter is produced in a Swiss dairy. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

As butter is generally one of the foods that are frequently contaminated with mineral oil residues, I would like to know whether this product is regularly checked for residues or what Migros does to prevent such contamination.

Hello AKGenf, thank you for your inquiry. We are currently clarifying your request with our supplier. As soon as we receive further information, we will let you know immediately. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello AKGenf, thanks again for the question. In general, our suppliers must comply with very strict food safety requirements. Our products are tested by us and by our suppliers on a risk-based and random basis in order to check compliance with the specifications and to ensure the quality of the products. MOSH (mineral oil saturated carbons) and MOAH (mineral oil aromatic carbons) are considered indicators of environmental contamination with mineral oils. The latter are omnipresent and can enter animal and plant foods via the environment through exhaust gases and tire abrasion, during harvesting through animal feed, processing or packaging - in particular through migration from cardboard. Corresponding monitoring takes place. Analysis is expensive and therefore not all products are tested. However, the monitoring serves as an indicator of whether there is an underlying contamination that would require more frequent testing. However, this is not the case. It is important to note that there are no limit values for MOSH and MOAH in foodstuffs. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello The packaging of the butter has a smooth/shiny surface on the inside. Is the packaging made with PFAS? I would be very pleased to receive an answer.

Hello kulo_vsky, thank you very much for your comment. We have not forgotten you, your feedback is still being clarified. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello kulo_vsky, thank you for your patience. We can confirm that perfluoroalkylated substances (PFAS) are not used in the manufacturing process of the materials. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Many thanks for the (gratifying) answer :)

Dear Migros team↵Is it right that you have taken this delicious butter out of the range?🙈↵Greetings Tina

Hello TinaDangl, thank you for your inquiry. No, this butter remains in the range. In which store did you miss it? Best regards, your M-Infoline team

In Romanshorn, I was told by the sales clerk that it had been taken out of the range...

Hello TinaDangl, we are pleased to inform you that the MM Romanshorn store will continue to stock this butter. We apologize for the misinformation. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, does the milk used for this "mountain butter" come entirely from cows raised and fed in Switzerland?

Hello Erine, thank you for your inquiry. We are happy to confirm your assumption: the cows in question did indeed grow up and graze in Switzerland. Sincerely, your M-Infoline team

Dear Migros Team I am looking for a zero waste butter. Is this butter made of parchment paper and therefore compostable? Thank you very much.

Hello Bergerjana, thank you for your question. The butter paper used for Heidi butter is not compostable - it is therefore not a parchment substitute. We do not currently stock any butter with this type of paper in our range. However, we were happy to inform the relevant specialist department about your suggestion. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello Is this butter made from raw milk? If not, do you have raw milk butter in your assortment' Thank you AL Christophi

Hi ALR Many thanks for your comment. As a general rule, we do not sell butter made from raw milk, as this is not permitted by law. Such a product would be too risky because of the development of bacteria. We hope we've been of help to you, and wish you a good day. Best regards Your M-Infoline team

Dear Migipedia Team
You write that this butter is made from Swiss mountain milk. How are the cows that produce this milk fed? Are they grass-fed animals (like Kerrygold) or are they also fed corn and other concentrated feed?
If so, is there a butter in your range that comes exclusively from grass-fed animals?
Kind regards

Hi guest
Thank you for your inquiry - we are delighted that you are interested!
Mountain milk is a designation of origin. There is a regulation for this. The milk producers are allowed to use the feed within the scope of this regulation. Grass silage, maize silage and certain concentrates are permitted.
At the moment there is no butter in our range that comes exclusively from grass-fed animals. However, we will check this and improve it if possible. However, we cannot promise that we will be able to implement this.
We hope for your understanding and look forward to your next visit.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

Very fine butter. However, an indication of whether it is made with raw milk or pasteurized milk would be desirable.

Dear guest
It's great that you like the butter.
It is made from pasteurized milk from the Swiss mountains.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and see you soon.
Kind regards from the M-Infoline team
