Why is this fine bread almost always sold out in Brügg and Lyss at the moment? Most of the time, only the dark variety is available there

Hello Andi71 We have gladly consulted with our specialist department. The item has been removed from the Migros Aare Cooperative range due to a lack of demand. We are aware that this decision is disappointing for customers who liked to buy the item often. Unfortunately, it is unavoidable that certain items have to make way for others that are more popular. We very much hope that you will find a new favorite bread in our diverse range. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello How much trans fat is in happy bread? Because the dough contains rapeseed oil and, as far as I know, this forms trans fats when heated. And the bread is baked, so it is heated. And it says in the nutritional table that it has three grams of fat, of which 0.5 grams is saturated fat. The remaining 2.5 grams of fat are not declared. I think it should be written everywhere how much trans fat it contains, because they are unhealthy.

Hi Ekeltoni, trans fatty acids are formed when fats and oils are not fully hardened. Migros therefore refrains from using partially hardened fats and oils. Complete hardening does not produce trans fatty acids. In Switzerland, there is a legal requirement that the trans fatty acid content must not exceed 2% (based on the fat content). The Happy bread hell Terrasuisse, 111400200000 does not contain any (partially) hydrogenated fats/oils but normal rapeseed oil; therefore trans fatty acids are not an issue with this product! As you correctly write, the bread contains 0.5 g saturated fat, the remaining 2.5 g are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
