I actually really like them, but why is the packaging way too big for just 35 tablets?
Hello Heidi15, thank you for your inquiry. Dishwasher tablet packaging is intentionally designed to include a certain amount of air space. This is due to chemical and practical reasons related to the stability and quality of the tablets. Best regards, your M-Infoline Team
1. Protection against moisture:
Dishwasher tablets contain active chemical ingredients such as enzymes and detergents that are sensitive to moisture. If moisture enters the packaging, the tabs could begin to dissolve or lose their effectiveness. The extra air space in the packaging helps protect the tabs from direct contact with moisture by creating a sort of "buffer zone."
2. Chemical stability:
Many ingredients in dishwasher tabs, such as enzymes or active oxygen, are sensitive to pressure or mechanical stress. The air space ensures that the tabs do not crumble or become damaged during transport and storage. This is particularly important to ensure that the tabs retain their full cleaning power.
3. Preventing clumping:
In packaging that is too tight, the tabs could clump together due to pressure or temperature changes. The air space ensures that the tabs remain separated from one another and retain their shape, which makes handling easier.
