Dear Migros team My washing-up liquid also changed after some time when I decanted it into the Handy bottle. The consistency became viscous, thick and has an unpleasant smell! Has anything been changed in the product? Or what is the reason for this?
Hello Seiclau, thank you for your message. We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing the same deviations as Haegens57 after decanting. There were no adjustments to the recipe. For this reason, it is reasonable to assume that the dispenser you are using has a steel spring in the pumping device. In this case, we recommend soaking all dispenser parts in spirit (methylated spirit) for a few hours. Then rinse them thoroughly with warm water and dry them well. Is this information helpful to you? Dear Migros team Thank you for the quick response. However, I have refilled the rinsing agent into the original cell phone bottle, which does not contain anything metallic. So that can't be the problem. I still have some of the detergent left to bring to a store? If desired? Kind regards

As you are emptying the liquid into the original container, our specialist department is considering another possibility: when decanting, there is unfortunately a risk that the contents will come into contact with bacteria from outside. This leads to the formation of germs, which experience has shown to be responsible for an unpleasant odor and a viscous consistency. Therefore, it does not necessarily have to be metal. For this reason, it is important to clean the container thoroughly and wipe the bottle well before use. We also recommend that you repeat the process from time to time. Hello Migros Can you tell me why our cell phone dishwashing liquid goes bad after a short time....😝? It smells terrible and gets thick!!! We always pour the detergent into a clean glass soap dispenser. Thanks for the feedback.
Hello Haegens57, thank you for your question. We are sorry that the dishwashing detergent has caused some inconvenience. We assume the following cause - the detergent may have been poured into a dispenser with a steel spring in the pumping device, whereby the steel spring came into contact with the contents. The Handy dishwashing detergent reacts corrosively (corroding) on steel, as salt is used for the viscosity. In addition, the sponge may come into contact with the dispenser spout when the detergent is removed. This means that bacteria can be transferred very quickly and contaminate the product. This then starts to smell unpleasant and changes consistency. We therefore recommend soaking all dispenser parts in spirit (methylated spirits) for a few hours, then rinsing them thoroughly with warm water and allowing them to dry thoroughly.
