It is completely normal for the burgers to be smaller and thicker after preparation than when they are raw. Incidentally, this is not only the case with Migros burgers, but also with home-made burgers. The method of preparation doesn't matter, shrinkage cannot be prevented.
Do you already know the M-Classic XL burger? It weighs 140 grams per burger instead of 90 grams and is correspondingly larger after preparation.
