Hi, are you sure about "lactose-free" digesting? I have been lactose intolerant for several years, and every time I buy your half cream , I am sick immediately, which does not happen to me with other brands. Looking forward to your kind reply kind regards G.

Hello, Why has the composition of the lactose-free half-cream changed? It's not as good. Too bad

Hello p-e-, we have not made any changes to this product. The tests we carried out on the reserve samples did not reveal any irregularities either. However, you can submit a complaint about unsatisfactory goods to your store's customer service department at any time, and you will then receive a replacement item or a refund. Is this product vegetarian and completely alcohol-free? (E407) Is there any cross-contamination with animal ingredients (e.g. slaughter fats) or alcohol?

Hello Acalyanur, half cream lactose-free aha! only contains animal ingredients that originally come from milk. The product consists of half cream (milk fat), buttermilk and milk protein (lacto-vegetarian). It contains calcium lactate, which is vegan and alcohol-free, and carrageenan (E 407), which is obtained from red algae. This is plant-based and alcohol-free. Furthermore, no rennet is added, but a microbial enzyme (lactase). Alcoholic substances are not added. Cross-contamination of alcohol and/or other animal products can be ruled out. Dear Migros team I really miss the 0.5 l lactose-free cream in the range. The small packs are hardly enough for a family meal and are also much more expensive. I'm surprised that demand was too low. Is it possible to reintroduce a larger pack? Could it also be because the lactose-free label was relatively inconspicuous compared to the small aha products? Thank you for your feedback.

Hello Jaspor, thank you for your message. We have gladly placed your request for the product to be available again in the larger packaging with our specialist department. We cannot promise you that we will be able to integrate the variant back into our range. Despite correct placement, demand unfortunately proved to be declining, which is why we decided to take this step. Nevertheless, we are keeping an eye on the issue. If necessary, we will initiate further measures. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Thank you for your feedback. How can you explain the price difference between the 0.5l cream and the half-size pack, which is relatively more expensive? Wouldn't the larger pack also save material, for the sake of the environment?

Hello Jaspor, packaging only accounts for around 5% of the life cycle assessment. The rest is the product. It therefore makes more sense to reduce food waste with smaller packaging. Depending on the quantities produced, individual products become more or less expensive. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Until recently, lactose-free half cream was available in 0.5 liter packs. But it has disappeared and I can no longer find it online. Has it been taken out of the range?

Edited

Hello Stevenson, thank you for your message. We are happy to provide you with the following information: Due to low demand, we have decided to no longer offer the large half-cream. We assure you that we will examine the situation carefully before making such a decision. We hope that the product shown above is an alternative for you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Does this product contain alcohol of any kind? Ethanol or in the carrier substances? Is the carrageenan dissolved in alcohol/ethanol? Is it completely alcohol-free?

Hello anonymous5252, we have checked the raw materials. The full cream does not contain alcohol, not even as a carrier. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why can the organic half cream from migros be produced without thickeners and the lactose-free half cream not?

Dear guest Thank you for your interest. The difference in the products is mainly due to the different production processes. The organic cream is produced using the PAST process, which in turn allows us not to use a stabilizer. The aha! whole and half cream is heated and produced using the UHT process, but this means that thickeners must be used. We hope this information has been helpful and wish you a pleasant weekend. Thank you for your answer. However, carrageenan is a controversial additive which can cause health problems and allergies.

Can't you make the half cream lactose-free without thickeners?

Dear guest We are delighted that you are interested in our product. The thickening agent (E407) Carragen is added to prevent the cream from separating (creaming). Whipping cream is not homogenized and naturally creams very quickly (like raw milk, for example), so without stabilization and cold storage, its shelf life is very limited. The fat content of semi-skimmed cream is also lower. The fat content has a significant influence on the whipping properties of cream, which is why the stabilizer calcium lactate (E327) is added to improve the whipping properties. We hope this information has been helpful and wish you a pleasant summer. Your M-Infoline Team
