1 question
Gruyère processed cheese from Migros has long been part of our range at home. It's especially popular with our children. But oops, what has suddenly happened to this cheese? The packaging was still the same and there was no mention that the recipe had been changed... As soon as you took the cheese out of the individual packaging, you could tell that something had been changed. It really stuck to your fingers and if you tried to bend it just a little, it broke straight down the line. And when you felt in your mouth that the taste was much more intense than before, our children immediately grimaced and said that they didn't want it on the table again... So it tasted the same for over 10 years, only now the cheese seems to have been "improved". A slice of processed cheese shouldn't just break immediately, it has to have a certain elasticity and not come across as sticky. And if you add more Gruyère flavour to it, it quickly becomes unpopular with children. What are we left with? LIDL offers almost the same product at a similar price. But it still tastes like the "old" Gruyère processed cheese from Migros. Dear Migros, please take a step backwards, otherwise we will lose one more basic product from Migros.
Hello rorue Thank you for your description of the Guyère processed cheese. We are sorry that it caused an unpleasant surprise last time. We would like to have the retained samples checked by our supplier to see if there were any problems with the batch. May we ask you to provide us with the M-Data and the lot number of your pack? The lot number usually starts with an L or there is a mixture of numbers and letters. We look forward to hearing from you and wish you a good day. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
