I have just read the Migros magazine of 31.7.2017, where on page 61 it is once again pointed out that "direct contact of raw meat or fish with other raw or cooked foods should be avoided". We have bought this and similar Grill-Mi products several times, and practically never has the separation of meat and herb butter in the packaging been 100%. In other words, there was always meat juice on the herb butter. How can this be reconciled with the "Enjoy safely" campaign?
Hello nicolemartin, thank you for your post. We also attach great importance to safe meat consumption, which is why we point this out in our article. The separate balancing of the tray with barrier, the high hygiene standards and safe meat production in accordance with legal requirements largely prevent contamination of the herb butter with meat juices. Of course, there is the possibility of contamination via the top web film. However, this is very low and can usually be avoided by carefully opening the packaging.
