How long can the opened product keep in the fridge? In my case, a carpet of mold forms on the cheese within 2-3 days...
Hello Coco-Jamboo, it is difficult to answer the question of how long Gorgonzola mascarpone cheese will keep or can still be eaten once opened. Generally speaking, the lower the water content in the cheese, the longer it will keep, so a hard or semi-hard cheese will keep much longer than a Gorgonzola mascarpone. In addition, the shelf life of an opened product depends on various factors: how the product is stored or handled after opening, and the temperature in the refrigerator also has an influence. It is therefore not possible to make any concrete specifications. Gorgonzola should be allowed to breathe for optimum shelf life. After opening, wrap it in special cheese paper or aluminum foil or cling film in which you make small holes. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you, unfortunately that doesn't really help me. In the meantime, I had already opened the product several times, before the date printed on it had expired, and found the same hairy mold (see picture). Is the product still edible? Unfortunately, I have thrown it away each time as it looks very unappetizing.
Hello Coco-jamboo, thank you for your feedback. Can you please give us the best-before date and the lot number next to it? Best regards, your M-Infoline team
The consumer date is 17.5.23 and the lot no.096A11
Hello Coco-jamboo, thank you for the feedback with the picture. Mold growth occurs when the cold chain is interrupted or the packaging is leaking. This means that the cheese was stored in a warm place for a short time or the packaging was slightly damaged. Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to trace where this incident occurred. We have informed our supplier of your concerns. They will check the quality of the product, the packaging and the associated logistics processes and make any necessary changes. Thank you for your commitment. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Can anyone tell me what those little rinds in the Gorganzola Mascarpone cheese are?
Hello Liluu, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, it's not entirely clear to us what you mean by castors. Can you please explain this to us in more detail? Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Good morning Liluu, M-InfolineThis is probably the blue mold in the mixture of Gorgonzola and Mascarpone, which sometimes forms in tubes. Best regards Frederica
